Based on traditional Chinese meridian theory, this paper discussed the design and establishment of a complete meridian database system, including various information about meridian, acupoints, health knowledge, and acupoints compatibility, by means of computer database, image processing and data mining technologies. We provided a tool which can be used to analyze the relations between symptoms and the acupoints compatibilities through graphical and interactive queries. The system is very useful for auxiliary treatment, and popularizing the Chinese traditional meridian knowledge.
