The vertical profiles of the wind velocity, its static characteristics, and the specific power of the wind flow were computed at altitudes from 10 to 100 m under Ustyurt plateau conditions; the plateau is one of the Uzbekistan regions most promising for electric energy generation on a commercial scale. The computation was performed using the 10-year wind velocity obtained at the Zhaslyk and Karakalpakia weather stations, considering the diurnal and annual variation of the atmosphere temperature stratification.
