BackgroundBreast carcinoma presented with nipple discharge is a rare condition. There is theoretical concern about preserving nipple in these patients since the risk of nipple–areolar complex involvement may be greater, but not many studies in the literature have addressed on this issue. The aim of the current study was to determine the incidence and outcome of nipple preservation in breast cancer associated with nipple discharge.
