IntroductionThe objective of this study was to describe and to evaluate a Simplification, Improvement and Modernization project (SAM) of logistics processes in a pediatric intensive care unit. SAM includes a full-empty system for the supply chain management (drugs, medical devices, solutes and hygiene equipment). It required spatial reorganization of the unit and the implementation of a pharmacy performance.
