    The method of forecasting reachability of a terminal state at modes of regular or emergency braking of the aircraft is developed. The method is based on the energy approach to flight control. To improve forecast reliability, the correction of forecasting algorithms is proposed. Applicability of an early warning or notice to a pilot on possibility of safe braking within the runway is proved by simulation results. It is to be noted that such messages can improve pilot’s situational awareness and thus decrease probability of false operations of the aircrew.
