BackgroundBeing overweight has been reported to induce hepatic dysfunction during cytotoxic chemotherapy. Severe hepatic dysfunction can also be observed during gefitinib monotherapy, leading to interrupted or discontinued treatment. However, whether being overweight is a risk factor during gefitinib therapy is unknown.
