This paper presents a mechanism providing a seamless mobile service without cutoff and reconnection in digital library system. In WLAN, mobile devices(mobile nodes: MN) that are provided all kinds of services have experienced cutoff service, so that the MNs must reconnect to server to retain the services according to the MNs-movement. The proposed technique solves those problems using AP identification number(AP_#) as a new IP header part and unchanged IP address that is assigned from AP accessed for the first time in WLAN. The size of IP header part is only 2-byte long that is composed of 2 AP_# fields(10-bits) and 6-bits long sequence number(SN) field. The IP header part and unchanged IP address perform a seamless mobile digital library service without cutoff and reconnection.
