The one-dimensional modified t-J model is investigated analytically by regulating the kinetic hopping at half filling. The transition from insulator to triplet superconductivity is predicted in the context of antiferromagnetic exchange. The ground-state phase diagram is obtained by use of bosonization and renormalization group schemes in the weak coupling regime. Our study provides a possible theoretical scenario for the realization of superconductivity. The result indicates that the physics of the modified model is not equivalent to that of the t-J model.
