BackgroundGiven that careful histological examination plays a pivotal role in follicular thyroid carcinoma categorization, we hypothesize that the number of blocks taken at initial specimen review may be associated with survival outcomes of patients initially diagnosed with minimally invasive follicular thyroid carcinoma.
