Bioremediation of cadmium-dichlorophen co-contaminated soil by spent Lentinus edodes substrate and its effects on microbial activity and biochemical properties of soil
PurposeSoil contamination resulting from industrial and agricultural activities has caused high concerns in recent years. Compared with single pollutant, co-contaminants of heavy metal and organic pollutant in soil are quite complicated. The overall objective of this study was to evaluate the potential of spent Lentinus edodes substrate (SLS) as an organic amendment for bioremediation of cadmium (Cd) and dichlorophen (DCP) co-contaminated soil.
