Structural, Spectral, Morphological, Dielectric, Magnetic, and Optical Properties of La-Ni ions co-substituted CoFe2O4 Nanoparticles
文摘
The present study focused on the structural, morphological, dielectric, magnetic, and fluorescence properties of lanthanum-nickel (La-Ni) ions co-substituted cobalt ferrite (CoFe2O4) magnetic nanoparticles prepared by a co-precipitation method. X-ray diffraction results reveal that the lattice constant of CoFe2O4 nanoparticles initially decreases and thereafter increases with increasing La-Ni ions concentration. The Fe–O symmetrical stretching vibrations of CoFe2O4 nanoparticles were identified by Fourier transform infrared spectral analysis. Surface morphology was remarkably modified due to the substitution of La-Ni ions in CoFe2O4 nanoparticles. Transmission electron microscopy analysis implies that the size and shape of co-substituted CoFe2O4 nanoparticles were slightly varied from those of undoped CoFe2O4 nanoparticles. The dielectric constant was enhanced with the substitution of La-Ni ions in CoFe2O4 nanoparticles. Magnetic properties gradually decrease with increasing La-Ni ions concentration. Fluorescence study shows that the emission peak intensity increases with increasing La-Ni ions substitution. From the results, it is obvious that the substitution of La-Ni ions significantly enhances the dielectric and fluorescence properties of CoFe2O4 nanoparticles.
