This work is an investigation of microwave characterization of (Pb0.45Ca0.55)(Fe0.5Nb0.5)1−ySnyO3 solid solutions, for 0.00 ≤ y ≤ 0.15 in the steps of 0.03. All the samples were synthesized using columbite precursor method. Perovskite structure with pseudocubic symmetry has been obtained for all compositions. The percentage of pyrochlore phase decreased with increasing Sn contents. The scattering parameters and dielectric properties were measured using vector network analyzer in X-band (8.2–12.4 GHz) frequency range. The loss tangent decreased with increasing Sn contents at B-site of lead calcium iron niobate. The transmission loss increased with increasing Sn contents. Thus, these studied materials can be used as band stop filter and reflector in X-band.
