This article presents the institution “Rumpelstiltskin”, a specialised institution for traumatised boys with sexually offensive behaviours. Psychodrama therapy is an integral part of the treatment programme. Boys, which were generally already in care before their admission to “Rumpelstiltskin”, and who suffered neglect, violence, abuse and early attachment deficits, live together in this institution. They are as a consequence of their sexually offensive behaviours, excluded from social systems such as family, school and peer group. Resulting questions are: How does their gender identity and their sexual orientation develop under such living conditions? How do their relationships generally develop? How does the care staff deal with sexual offending and transferences of abuse in the context of professional relationships? A short case example of a boy living in this setting is presented in order to illustrate the complexities of his life situation and the challenges for the professionals dealing with him.
