Single crystals of the Zn_0.97Cd_0.03As₂ solid solution are prepared, and their structure is determined by x-ray diffraction. The incorporation of Cd into ZnAs₂ has no effect on its lattice parameters (to within the error of determination). Cd is shown to occupy interstitial sites in the solid solution.
