In this paper, we have presented comparative analysis of XPM-induced crosstalk using couple and Schr枚dinger equations in SCM鈥揥DM transmission links. It has been observed that there is exponent increase in XPM-induced crosstalk with the increase in modulation frequencies, transmission lengths and optical powers respectively. In comparison with couple equation, Schr枚dinger equation gave us less XPM-induced crosstalk in SCM鈥揥DM transmission links.
