BackgroundSome pseudophakic patients implanted with a monofocal intraocular lens (IOL) have good near visual acuity (VA) with their distance correction. The objective was to evaluate the prevalence of pseudo-accommodation in children after bilateral cataract surgery, without amblyopia, and to define its mechanisms.
