Blast-wave revision of the multisource thermal model in nucleus–nucleus collisions

In the present study the blast-wave picture has been introduced in the multisource thermal model. We assume that the fragments and particles produced by thermal reason in sources in the model are pushed away by a blast-wave. The blast-wave causes the final-state products to be effected by flows which contain isotropic radial flow and anisotropic flow. The momentum distributions of final-state products produced in intermediate-, high-, and ultrahigh-energy nucleus–nucleus collisions obey the standard distributions with revision of flow velocity. The results obtained from the analysis of the model are found to be in good agreement with the experimental data of azimuthal and polar angular distributions of final-state products produced in nucleus–nucleus collisions over an energy range from Ebeam = 400 A MeV to \( \sqrt {s_{NN} } = 2.76\;{\text{TeV}}. \)KeywordsBlast-wave revisionMultisource thermal modelAzimuthal distributionPolar angular distributionsFinal-state products
