Modern large road network systems pose real puzzles in the computation of optimal route selection. The mishaps, accidents and natural hazards vie with one another in throwing up multiple obstacles for drivers. In spite of the availability of ample literature on this issue, the problem remains undefined and enigmatic. Hence the present investigation is attempted in a scientific manner to assist the drivers in negotiating the impediments on the road by means of a conventional device—sign boards. These sign boards have embedded devices with pre-programmed information depending upon the conditions of the area and the information is emitted through radio frequency waves. These conditions are classified and decoded by the AHP intelligent systems in the approaching vehicles and facilitate the drivers in decision making in the selection of optimal routes. Among the wide variety of methods available in detecting communities in large networks, code based community network system is adopted in the current paper since it is reasonable, with the real communities remaining unequal in size, exceptionally fast in reducing search and achieving near optimal solutions.
