Two two-unit diesel fuel hydrotreating plants — L-24-6 (started up in 1964) and LCh-24-7 (started up in 1970) were planned to produce 900,000 and 1,200,000 tons/year using cold separation and a working pressure of 3–3.5 MPa in the system. In 1976-1979, hot separation, developed by refinery specialists, was introduced for the first time in plants of this type.
