Temperature regulation in the metal-cutting zone is considered. A method is proposed for monitoring the cutting temperature on the basis of a model dependence on the cutting parameters. A dynamic model of the relation between the cutting parameters and the temperature in the cutting zone is established. Models of the elements of the control channel for the cutting-zone temperature are developed. A dynamic model of the control channel for the temperature in the cutting zone is formulated. Recommendations are made regarding the practical application of the dynamic model.
