Spectral and temperature characteristics of light transmission in water solutions of chemical indicators-bromophenol blue, bromothymol blue, and cresol red—were measured in the wavelength range of 500-50 nm and the temperature range from 20 to 90°С. It was demonstrated that these solutions can be applied in optical fiber thermometers with continuous reading which are not affected by strong external electromagnetic fields. Original Russian Text ?
