In first attempt to extract the chutes and chute cutoff of the River Nile generated within Egypt from satellite images with approach to their generation model and emphasis to climatic changes. The Landsat TM images dated 1985 and ETM 2003 used with the ARC-MAP program, spatial 3D digital elevation model, and field verifications enabled the current search to found 34 chutes. The configuration of detected chute and chute cutoff along the River Nile had been controlled by the following functions: the Quaternary structure, slope gradient, valley width and the river meander position inside the fluvial deposits. The number of chute increases in more meander parts of the Nile where the sediments widen between latitudes \({25^{\circ}}\) and 27\({^{\circ}}\) 30\({^{\prime}}\). We could delineate two phases of the chute cutoff generation: First had been generated inside widen Nile sediments, and second chute cutoff was initiated closely to the river inside the Neonile silt sediments due to climatic changes started after the last period of the Holocene until recent decades. In addition, there are new chutes derived from the river after High Dam construction and Lake Nasser generation through the climatic and water speed changes in the river.
