In this paper, we first analyze the scalability and programming network architectures for Internet of things (IoT) in industries. Then, a representational state transfer(REST) framework for IoT based on software defined network (SDN) is proposed. Based on the proposed framework, control plane model and data plane model for IoT are proposed. In addition, a gateway model is provided to evaluate the proposed framework and use case results show that the proposed architectures are good for raw sensor data collecting.
