A novel anion receptor 1 based on pyrrole and amide moieties was designed, synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography, 1H NMR, ESI-MS and so on. Its anions (such as AcO−, F−, Cl− and H₂PO₄ −) binding properties was studied in detail by the 1H NMR titrations in DMSO-d ₆ .
