With respect to manual therapeutic concepts for painful functional disorders of the knee, the important individual morphological components of the joint are presented in an anatomical image series. Furthermore, possible case reports are discussed which, in addition to primary lesions, secondarily contribute as interference factors to irritation of the joint structures.
