Im Auftrag der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Hals-Nasen-Ohren-Heilkunde, Kopf- und Halschirurgie e. V. wurde in 5 Konsensustreffen unter Einbindung der aktuellen Literatur eine S1-Leitlinie zum Thema ?Adenoide Vegetationen/Rachenmandelhyperplasie“ entwickelt und vom Pr?sidium am 13.04.2011 freigegeben. Anatomie, Pathologie und Pathophysiologie, Symptomatik, Diagnostik und Therapie sowie Verlauf werden dargestellt.
