Background/objective Vaspin is a recently identified adipokine related to obesity and insulin sensitivity. The precise mechanism of vaspin in the body is not well known, and its function in resting metabolic rate (RMR) is even less understood. Therefore, the main aim of this study was to investigate the effect of circulating vaspin on RMR in obese people.
