This letter comments on the recent article by Šesták entitled “Šesták–Berggren equation: now questioned but formerly celebrated—what is right.” The article questions the terminology that differentiates between two forms of the Šesták–Berggren equation, one of which is termed truncated, and contains some bizarre statements that involve my name but do not reflect any reality. This letter explains why the terminology is reasonable and why the statements are bizarre.
