Rectal advancement flap is a surgical procedure for treating Crohn’s disease related or cryptogenetic fistula in ano and rectovaginal fistula. Success rates range from 50 to 90% depending on the etiology of the fistula. Postoperative morbidity is low, and this endoanal procedure is often performed as a first surgical step for complex or recurrent fistula.
