摘要

Grauch and Campbell showed the danger of a simplistic approach in aeromagnetic surveying over rough and magnetized terrain. It is impossible to remove the magnetic effects of the terrain simply by drape flying at a constant height above the terrain, or by an equivalent mathematical continuation. Perhaps their emphasis is unkind to the purpose of Bhattacharyya and Wynn (1977) who wished to reduce the high-frequency magnetic effects observed over mountain peaks when flying at a constant level, and were quite successful in so doing.
