Welcome, friend, to another edition of Bright Spots, your friendly Geophysics spotlighter. Our last column came to you via choices from both the Associate Editors of Geophysics and me. This month's choices are only mine. There are 37 articles in the March–April issue of Geophysics, and I spotlight six. I hope my short summaries motivate you to their sources and others equally worthy, but not on my radar. As always, Geophysics is worth your effort.
