摘要
Microfossils of the form taxon Schizosporis reticulatus might well be the resting eggs of rotifers related to the extant species Hexarthra mira. Palynological records of this warmth-demanding planktonic organism, which occurs in conditions of pH higher than 7, may help to reconstruct paleoenvironmental conditions.
