摘要

Alluvium along main streams in Oklahoma has long been recognized as a generally dependable aquifer. Pumping tests made in recent years afford a means of comparing one area with another. They indicate coefficients of transmissibility on the order of 70,000 gallons per day per foot in the Arkansas River alluvium near Fort Gibson, and 60,000 in the North Canadian River alluvium near Oklahoma City and El Reno.
