摘要
Isotopic abundances of Th-230 and Pa-231 are compared with those of parent uranium isotopes in various parts of ore rolls. Daughter products exceed equilibrium amounts in ore, suggesting presence of uranium-rich pore water. Lack of a large excess of daughter products in altered rock in core of ore rolls indicates that roll front has not moved significantly in past 250,000 years.
