摘要
Himachal Predesh, a state in northwest India, is ideally situated for generation of hydel (or hydroelectric) power due to its location on the western slope of the Himalayas. However, huge amounts of cement will be required to construct the power plants. Limestone is a critical component, and it has been established that two limestone sites are in the area (71 km and 78 km from the state capital, Simla).
