SSA members will vote on the proposed change to the Society’s bylaws and choose members of the board of directors in the 2012 election. The election will be held online. Instructions for casting an online ballot will be e‐mailed to SSA members from Election‐America. Completed ballots must be received by 5 p.m. PST on Friday, 4 January 2013. Information about the proposed bylaws change and the statements from the six candidates who are standing for election are given in this article. The candidates’ statements are presented in the order they were received from the candidates.
