We present the procedure used in the acquisition and processing or the wide-angle reflection/refraction data acquired in some off shore-on shore high density experiments along the Italian coast. It gives a summary of the experience of SEA LAND Working group and DINMA group and provides a concise and complete overview of the used procedure and of the problems connected with the acquisition and management of this kind of data. Our experience indicates that this kind of data requires a relative standard simple processing procedure but sometimes dedicated procedures must be developed to solve acquisition problems and to improve the quality of the data.
