Technology and trade have flattened the world. Yet,this flat earth has only further revealed the depth of the human soul, especially regarding the labyrinths of culture and identity. The Church is repeatedly reminded of the complexity of making disciples amidst this cultural diversification. While much of the last 1,400 years has seen little fruit in reaching Muslims with the gospel, the last generation has seen an unprecedented changing of the tides. With renewed focus on Muslim peoples, there have likewise been recurring disagreements regarding worker methodology, and,by extension, worker ministry mindset. What do workers do regarding contextualization in the Muslim world? And why do workers do that? This project surveyed workers to discover their practices among eight areas of contextualization. The sampling is not intended to be necessarily representative of all workers. Rather, the sampling is to provide data to see how closely contextualization practices correspond with a proposed Worker Scale. The Worker Scale W1 -- W4) is a spectrum of various evangelical views regarding Islam, forming a scale of theology of religions. The findings lend support to the Worker Scale. And,since ideas drive action, further work in integrating the theological lenses of Creation-Rebellion-Redemption will assist in providing the Christological clarity that we and our cousins so deeply need.
