This paper utilizes Zero-Censored Tobit Linear Regression to examine whether Chilean Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) indicates higher SME exports, measured as a percentage of gross sales. It finds that the use of email is a statistically significant predictor of higher Chilean SME exports. The paper does not find any statistical evidence of a relationship between Chilean SMEs use of business websites,cell-phones,or high-speed internet and SME exports. This paper's analytical framework builds upon previous work by Zimmerman (2000) and Martinez-Villavicencio (2011). This framework is applied to data from the World Bank's Enterprise Surveys (ES) database in this paper. The ES data used in this paper's analysis were collected from interviews with business owners and top managers of 1,033 Chilean firms conducted during the period of April 2010 to April 2011.
