摘要
Heterogeneous membranes based on macroporous and hypercrosslinked polymer adsorbents were prepared with a poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide) binder and tested for separation of hydrogen and methane. The separation process was characterized by parameters, such as diffusion flux, permeability and selectivity. The prepared membranes were superior to the homogeneous ones in permeability and to zeolite-filled membranes in selectivity. Their selectivity in H2/CH4 separation reached values of ca 100.
