摘要

The legal battle surrounding the photographs of the wedding of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones in late 2000 has thrown up some strong opinions on the rights and wrongs of protecting images of celebrities. However, behind the headlines some serious legal issues have been considered. This article looks at the recent House of Lords decision which brings to an end the series of appeals in the case and addresses some key issues of the law of confidence and the tort of unlawful interference.
