摘要

Baylis–Hillman adducts can efficiently undergo the Johnson–Claisen rearrangement by treatment with triethyl orthoacetate in the presence of I₂–SiO₂ as a heterogeneous catalyst for stereoselective conversions into ethyl alk-4-enoates in high yields.
