The Spleen-Stomach system forms the center of traditional Chinese medicine. All organs depend on the correct functioning of this system and all chronic diseases causing humidity and phlegm often overload this system. Dietary excesses and deficiencies and a disordered lifestyle cause disease mainly in these organs. Basic dietary recommendations and care, both restrictive and coadjuvant, are used complementarily to reestablish optimal functioning of the Spleen-Stomach system.
