Spin-charge inhomogeneity, spin–orbit and lattice distortions in doped cuprates

摘要
The inhomogeneous ground state under the lattice distortion in the underdoped region is investigated theoretically based on the two-dimensional Hubbard model. An effect of the spin–orbit interaction induced by lattice distortions is investigated using a variational Monte Carlo method; the spin–orbit term induces a flux state with time-reversal symmetry breaking in the stripe region.
