摘要

Rare monomeric as well as dimeric Cu(II) complexes, [Cu₂(尾-pic)₄L₄][Cu(尾-pic)₂L₂(H₂O)₂]路2H₂O (1), (where L = cinnamate and 尾-pic = 尾-picoline) in one single crystal have been synthesized by the reaction of copper(II) cinnamate and excess of 尾-pic while a monomeric complex [Cu(py)₂L₂(H₂O)]路py (2) was obtained in a similar reaction by using py (py = pyridine) instead of 尾-pic. Both of these copper(II) complexes have been characterized by spectroscopic techniques, TGA, X-ray crystallography and DFT studies.
