摘要

Kp>+p> channels allow the passive and selective transport of Kp>+p> ions through the membranes. They control Kp>+p> homeostasis, neuronal and muscular excitabilities, and neurotransmitter and hormone release.

Exegesis

<p>Kp>+p> channels are composed of pore-forming subunits associated with regulatory subunits. Many different Kp>+p> channels have been identified.

Conclusion

<p>This diversity is stressed by the growing number of genetic and acquired diseases associated with these channels.
