摘要

A case of an abnormal bone scan following intraosseous access in a 12-month-old child is presented. Gallium scanning and follow-up showed no signs of possible complicating osteomyelitis. This case report suggests that an abnormal bone scan following intraosseous access is possible and should not be considered diagnostic for osteomyelitis.
