摘要

The influence of the composition on both the magnetostriction and the GMI effect in Co_72.5−xFe_xSi_12.5B₁₅ (x=5.5–6.2) amorphous glass-covered wires is investigated. The basic magnetic properties of these materials as well as internal stresses induced by the glass cover during the preparation process strongly influence the GMI effect.
