摘要

The half-life of the alpha emitter ¹⁴⁸Gd isotope has been measured by following the decay curve of a low activity ¹⁴⁸Gd- ²⁴¹Am mixed source. Based on two years of decay the preliminary result is T_1/2 = 70.9 ± 1.0 y.
