Dielectric and piezoelectric properties of non-stoichiometric (K<sub>0.5sub>Na<sub>0.5sub>)(Nb<sub>0.9+xsub>Ta<sub>0.1sub>)O<sub>3sub> ceramics

摘要
In the study, in order to develop the lead-free piezoelectric ceramics for actuator, transformer and other electronic-devices application, (K<sub>0.5sub>Na<sub>0.5sub>)(Nb<sub>0.9+xsub>Ta<sub>0.1sub>)O<sub>3sub>聽+聽0.5聽mol%CuO聽+聽0.2聽mol%MnO<sub>2sub> ceramics were prepared by conventional mixed oxide method. The effects of B-site non-stoichiometry in [(K<sub>0.5sub>Na<sub>0.5sub>)] [(Nb<sub>0.9+xsub>Ta<sub>0.1sub>)O<sub>3sub>] ceramics on microstructure and piezoelectric properties were investigated. The density, electromechanical coupling factor (k<sub>psub>), mechanical quality factor (Q<sub>msub>), piezoelectric constant (d<sub>33sub>), T<sub>Csub> and T<sub>O-Tsub> of NKNT ceramics with x聽=聽0.0065 showed the optimum values of 4.58聽g/cm<sup>3sup>, 0.427, 1554, 109聽pC/N, 373聽掳C and 226聽掳C, respectively, suitable for piezoelectric motor, and transformer applications.
